I’m Sania Saleh (a.k.a. AzidKandy), born in Madrid in 1997.

Artist and visual designer.

I work between the graphic, the urban, and the symbolic, using image and language as cathartic tools.

I’ve lived between Madrid, Berlin, and Barcelona, and these cities have shaped me: the street, noise, politics, nightlife, beauty, contradiction, and contrast. Berlin left a deep mark on me, and Barcelona brought me back into my body, while Madrid remains the origin of everything, even if I often feel like a foreigner there.

My practice moves between art, design, and visual experimentation. I’m interested in public space as a site of conflict and expression; urban art; typography; glitch; and the tension between the institutional and the wild. I work with theoretical references, but also with intuition, music, and emotion. I don’t draw a strict line between the mind, the heart, and the gut.

I believe in art as a tool for transformation — personal and collective.

In facing discomfort head-on. In not softening what hurts.
